Its all about a niche
When you make a new website, make it about one specific niche, or a few similar ones. The reason for it is simply the fact that most people prefer one kind of porn, so its better to concentrate on a particular niche, gather an interested audience, which gives you a higher chance of eventually selling something.
Sometimes, its a good idea to pick a smaller niche, with less competition, but with quite a few 'unsatisfied customers', who suffer from not enough websites with their favorite content.

Optimize your sites for search engines
Well, it wouldn't hurt. As for me, I pay a lot of attention to it. But if you don't know how to do it... well, you better learn. Because the search engine traffic is concidered to be the most valuable and best converting, even for adult websites.
Again, picking a smaller niche makes it easier to win some keywords in Google and Yahoo, and - less time. Maybe, this wouldn't provide you with lots of traffic, but the quality of it would be higher than those clicks you get from your traffic partners.
You may want to avoid the mistake I made, particularly - optimizing some of your adult sites for the "free" keyword. I mean, sure, everyone likes freebies, and free porn in particular, but thats beside the point. The point is, even though the "free" keyphrases can bring you a lot of traffic, I really doubt those guys will ever buy anything. They were searching for free porn, and after they are done browsing through all the free galleries you have, they move along to search for more free stuff.

Create your own adult network
No matter how targeted your adult traffic is, there is still some part of it that came to your website by accident, and they are expectig to see something else. For example, it is nice when those who find themselves on your nylon niche website, will be able to spot a link to their favorite busty website, and that website is also yours.
Also, your older websites will be helping your new ones to get on track. Also, you never know which project will become the most popular and successful, so you want to spread those eggs between baskets :)

Choose sponsors carefully
The most important rule here is what your traffic likes. You may sign up for the most increadible busty adult sponsor, but it wount convert for you, because your traffic likes petite teens. So, study your visitors, experiment, and stick to the best converting ones. Btw, check out those adult sponsors I have been promoting.
One more tip: pay attention whether a sponsor brings you rebills. It is always better seeing multiple rebills from every signup, then getting payed only once. And some of the sponsors are able to make this happen, while the others aren't.

Trade traffic with same niche sites
Now that you've concentrated on a niche, you need your niche traffic. Trade with sites like yours, and you'll be fine.
